Physical Description: Holy entities such as Angels are typically beautiful and androgynous, taking on different shapes and appearances depending on their class. All angels possess wings either physically or spiritually, and the ability to fly using them.
Associated Class: Angels do exceptionally as Crusaders, Chaplains, and Mages. Some also choose to become Soldiers in order to utilize their divinity to enhance their martial prowess.
Associated Religions: Angels exist among all types of holy deities, each serving with different principles and each following different edicts.
History: Created by the holy deities, angels were among the first beings in existence with demons becoming lifelong enemies through their use as pawns in wars between holy and unholy deities. This was common in the past when the multiverse was in its infancy. This has since become less common as gods prefer to employ godslayers to do their bidding due to their ability to take down potentially nefarious or troublesome gods disrupting the balance. Angels are sometimes godslayers as well, however this is rarer as it associates the deity with the act of attempting to kill the other god, whereas a mortal isn’t as easily tied to a specific god.
In Morta IV: In the modern age, Angels who are still with their gods serve as protectors of individuals who they conscript them to. Some become fallen angels due to falling outs with their gods - some due to a change in their deity (such as a god being slain by a godslayer and replaced with their allegiance changing to that of the godslayer), others gain a semblance of individuality and just wish to venture the world - still in touch with their deity or not.
Angels have some negative connotations with certain mortals as some angels have caused havoc in various societies on different planets within Morta IV. Orcs are one of the least receptive to angels.
