Conduits of elemental power, Elementalists focus in a specific arcane element rather than the generalist approach of most Mages.
Elemental Origin
In place of a Mage's Origin, the Elementalist instead gains an Elemental Specialization as per the Evoker class. The element chosen cannot be non-arcane elements (such as holy/unholy).
Regardless of the element chosen, the Elementalist casts Arcane spells.
When casting spells of the element chosen for their Elemental Origin, they increase the attack and damage by an amount equal to 1 + 1 at 5th level and every 5 levels thereafter (maximum of +6 at 20th level). If the spell doesn't deal damage or require an attack, this spell instead increases its duration by that amount or its effect (for example, if it's an Energy Resistance) by double the bonus.
In place of their Origin Abilities, the Elementalist gains the Evoker Talents from their Elemental Specialization chosen. Effects triggered by a Blast are instead triggered by spells of the element chosen by the Elementalist.
This alters Mage's Origin and Origin Abilities.
Spell Trick
In place of Magic Tampering gained at the appropriate levels, the Elementalist instead receives Blast Tricks as per the Evoker class. These Spell Tricks only apply to spells which contain the tag of the element chosen by their Elemental Origin.
Spell Tricks which have level-based prerequisites treat the Elementalist as an Evoker 2 levels lower than their Elementalist level.
This alters Magic Tampering.
