Physical Description: Gargoyles have skin made from various stones, marbles, and earthy materials, making them particularly tough. They have no hair, and often have red or green eyes. They have sharp claws adorning their hands, making them deadly enemies.
Associated Class: They make good Rogues, Soldiers, and sometimes even Mages due to their increased vitality.
Associated Religions: Most Gargoyles worship Dagon, devoting themselves to the dreams they receive while worshiping him.
History: Gargoyles were originally created by priests and alchemists as guardians to cathedrals and buildings, standing disguised as stone statues before revealing their true nature and striking. They gradually were phased out of usage due to their particularly aggressive nature causing them to attack non-intruders to buildings and on more than one occasion attacking and killing their masters. Whether this was intentional or so they'd stop being used as pets for mortal landowners.
In Morta IV: Typical Gargoyles use their skills and become mercenaries or soldiers in armies, very rarely grouping together with other Gargoyles to make societies. Because of their lack of brotherhood with their own kind, they instead get along better with and integrate into Human and Dwarven society instead. Despite these skills, some Gargoyles move on to greener pastures - some even managing to become scholars or scribes.
