1.真正的佛法就在我們每個人的身中,從來沒有離開過,人人本來具有大智

慧如來佛性。

The real Buddha dharma subsists in each person and has never departed from us. Everyone originally possesses Buddha nature of great wisdom.

2.人生真正的意義在什麼地方?在我們當下能夠解脫自在。

What is the real meaning of life? It is our liberated free mind in every moment.

3.我們講真心是針對妄心,本來沒有真,也沒有妄,因為有妄心,才說

有真心。

The so-called “True mind” seems like opposite to the “Delusory mind”. Originally there is neither reality nor delusion. Because delusory thoughts arise, we create the words “True mind”.

4.開悟是這輩子最重要的事情。

The so-called “Enlightenment” is the most important task in this life for everyone.

5.一個人開悟,整個宇宙的人都成佛了。

The moment one awakens, the whole universe is enlightened.

6.如果你開悟,在你眼中,是沒有眾生的。

The moment one sees self, he sees no more indigent being.

7.當你開悟的時候,就叫作聖胎,因為見性成佛,是剛剛生出來的

佛,從此以後,你就知道該如何修行及保任。

The moment one awakens is called “Sacred fetus”. The moment one sees self is the birth of Buddha. Since then, one realizes how to cultivate and preserve himself.

8.你一旦執著在『相』上面的修行,就不能見到真正的佛,佛是沒有相的。

Once attached to the outer perspectives for cultivation, one cannot see the real Buddha, because Buddha cannot be seen as physical or invisible form.

9.沒有靠疑情去尋求真理,真理永遠出不來。

Seeking truth without doubts, the truth will never be realized.

10. 「禪」是最完美的心,最完美的性。見到了你的自心、自性,你就是一尊「初 生佛」。

“Zen” is the most perfect mind and nature. Realizing mind and nature, you are called a “New Born Buddha”.

11. 「生老病死」本是自然的過程,因為不了解自己,才會怕死。畏懼

「死亡」,是各種宗教產生的原因之一。

“Life, Aging, Illness and Death” are natural processes. Because one does not realize himself, he fears death. Fear of death is one of the reasons religions are created.

12. 吾人不知自己本來成佛,圓滿具足,卻向外馳求覓佛,正如人騎牛覓

牛,可謂荒謬之極。

We do not realize that we originally are Buddha, perfect and fulfilled. Instead, we seek outwardly for Buddha which is as absurd as searching for an ox while riding the ox.

13. 本體而言,妄真俱無實體,穢土無異淨土,凡聖本無差別,皆是一心

所成,了此即如如佛。

As to one’s original self, both delusion and reality do not subsist; filthy world is no different from pure world; indigent being is the same as sage. These distinctions are created by our mind. Once we realize this, we restore ourselves to Buddha.

14. 煩惱及苦的妄念正如空花水月,虛妄而不實。妄念不生,我們的心就

解脫自在。

Vexation and suffering are delusions. Just like empty flowers in the sick eyes and moon reflected in the water are delusory. Without delusory thoughts, our mind is liberated in nirvana.

15. 吾人為什麼不能解脫自在?因為對「相」起了妄想和執著。

Why are we not liberated in nirvana? Because we raise delusory thoughts and create attachments to the outer perspectives.

16. 到底妄想和執著從那裡來?它們來自念頭。如果我們知道念頭的來處,沒

有任何形相,是空的,妄想和執著就沒立足點了。

Where do delusion and attachment originate? They come from our thoughts. If we realize that the origination of thoughts is empty, without a form, the delusion and attachment will have no ground to stand on for their existence.

17. 「凡有所求,皆是妄」,包括「要成佛」的念都是妄念。

All desires are delusory, including the idea of “Becoming a Buddha”.

18. 「涅槃」不在外,而在吾人自身中,不要去外面到處追尋。

Nirvana is within ourselves, do not seek it outwardly.

19. 如果我們認識自己,一切的放不下,都可以放得下。

If we realize ourselves, all attachments will be released.

20. 「明心見性」是學佛的目的,以「大自在」為目標,首先要認識自

己,這是修行的第一步。

Enlightenment is the objective of cultivation. With the goal of “Free Mind”, one should realize himself first.

21. 禪不是一種宗教,但涵蓋了宗教。禪是眾生心,心涵蓋了這世間的萬

事萬物,當然包括宗教。

“Zen” is not a religion, but embraces all religions. “Zen” is the mind of indigent beings which embraces religions and the whole universe.

22. 「真理」本身沒有所謂「相對」或「絕對」,它沒有兩邊,沒有善

惡,也沒有美醜,不分有無,這些都是世間創造出來的兩極化。

“Truth” itself has no “opposition” or “absoluteness”. It does not have two extremes; no virtue or evil; no beauty or ugliness; no being or non-being. Those polarizations are created by a deluded view of the world.

23. 肉身即法身,沒有差別,這就是我們說「全體是佛」的原因。

The physical body is not different from the dharma body, that is the reason we say “the whole being is Buddha”.

24. 每一個人必須回到自己的道場,才能成佛。最好的道場在內心,除此

無他!

Everyone must return to his inner self to become a Buddha. That is the best and only place to cultivate yourself.
