Week of 9/6

Tues: Salmon cakes w/ mango avocado salsa, collards, (rice)

Wed: Caesar salad w/ croutons, omelet w/spinach & salsa, pickled green beans

Thurs: Frozen lasagna, zucchini with lemon

Fri: Jalapeno pork loin, collards, bulgur

Sat: Lentil soup a la Bittman w/ 2 links andouille sausage, caesar salad w/croutons

Week of 9/11

Sun: Lasagna, asparagus

Mon: Jalapeno Pork, broccoli, bulgur

Tue: Lentil Soup, zuccini w lemon

Wed: Grits and greens; add a bit of sausage as well

Thurs: Phool Gobi Aloo (Cauliflower and potato curry), spinach w nutmeg

Fri: Med. Fish Stew, bread rounds, aioli

Sat: Chicken Chili Verde on rice/black beans, fried plantains


Week of 9/24

Sat: Marinated Feta, Salmon Cakes, Caesar Salad

Sun: Pea soup with ham, corn on the cob, apple pie [freeze most]

Mon: Chicken Parm, Asparagus; make Cajun Hash (p 28) for tomorrow's breakfast

Tue: Mexican Meat Loaf p. 146, whipped potatoes, buttered green beans [freeze most]

Wed (chilly): Poblano corn chowder (1/2 recipe) w shrimp 121, salad [freeze much]

Thurs (chilly): Waco Chili p 127 [freeze most]

Fri: Med. Fish Stew, bread rounds, aioli

Sat: Hong Kong potatoes, leftover pea soup or grits=and-greens

Week of 10/10

Mon: Nasi Goreng; make Cajun Hash (p 28) for tomorrow's breakfast; make aioli

Tue: Caesar salad w/ croutons, omelet w/spinach & salsa, apple sauce; broccoil, make fritatta for tomorrow. Test cider

Wed (singing): Jalapeno pork loin, collards, bulgur, pickled green beans;

Thurs (tooth crown, ballet): Med. Fish Stew, bread rounds, aioli

Fri: grits=and-greens, cumin carrots

Week of 10/23

salmon; potato leek; pasta w red sauce and zucchini; cajun shrimp? C. salad again; eggplant in babaganoush

Sun 8PM: eggplant in baba ganoush; whole wheat pita; carrots w cumin/parsley

Mon (dance): Cajun Hash (p 28) , greens

Tue: Caesar salad w/ croutons, baby bok choy + bean sprouts, salmon with soy/ginger sauce

Wed: Potato leek soup, cajun shrimp

Thurs ( ballet): Pasta with red sauce and zucchini; roast radishes, cook salmon for salmon cakes

Fri: grits=and-greens, honey carrots, salmon cakes


Week of 11/7

Mon: (cooling rapidly, ballet) James Beard meatloaf; spinach w vinegar, roasted carrots and radishes

Tue: (puzzled pint) Meatloaf again. Roast mini-potatoes in Mexican spice. Avocado slices. Apple pie for dessert

Wed: Hamburgers, potato chips, tomato slices

Thu (ballet): Sayur Kari

Fri: : Grits and greens; add a bit of sausage as well, Ceasar Salad; make chicken for tomorrow
