Week of 11/13

Sun: Beef burgers, beans, chips, caesar salad

Mon: chicken salsa verde + one plantain + zucchini; cook beef stew as well

Mon (ballet, cold): Catalan beef stew, asparagus

Tue (cold): Hong Kong potatoes, Salmon, chard, make Cajun Hash (p 28) for tomorrow's breakfast

Wed (meg home, singing, cold): Marinated Feta, Lentil soup a la Bittman, andouille sausage on the side

Thu (ballet, meg here?): Veg. Sayur Kari, plantains,

Fri: New Mexico hot dish, roast carrots

Sat: Grits and greens; add a bit of sausage as well



Week of 11/20 (Thanksgiving)

Sat : Catalan beef stew, asparagus

Sun : Hong Kong potatoes, Salmon, chard, make Cajun Hash (p 28) for tomorrow's breakfast

Mon: New Mexico hot dish, roast carrots

Tue: New Mexico hot dish, again

Wed: Grits and greens; add a bit of sausage as well

Thu: Thanksgiving: Jack's sweet potatoes, Jacl's apple crisp, dourbon sweet potatoes, pumpkin cheesecake, sun tart, green salad (constance), (hong-kong potatoes???)

Fri:(Waffles, hummus, mini carrots, peanut butter, pasta alla norma, check on spaghetti)


Week of 12/4-12/10


Sun : Spaghetti, red sauce, basil. Shrimp on the side

Mon: Caesar salad w/ croutons, bok choy + bean sprouts, salmon with soy/ginger sauce

Tue: Hamburgers (see first note here), potato chips, tomato slices, Caesar salad again

WED (singing): Hong Kong potatoes, Salmon, chard, make Cajun Hash (p 28) for tomorrow's breakfast

Fri: Chicken Chili Verde on rice/black beans,

Mon : Kabocha soup; fried tofu

Tue: Bulgogi-style tofu. braised butternut squash

Wed: Jalapeno pork loin, collards, bulgur, pickled green beans;

Thu: ; persian rice thing, <some protein>

Fri: Mashed potato cake, fried plantains, black beans or Toby's Garbanzos


Dec 23: persian rice, remaining roast veggies.

Dec 24: Hong Kong potatoes, veggie sayur kari

Dec 25: waffles for breakfast; canadian bacon too

Lentil soup a la Bittman, andouille sausage on the side. Dessert

Sun : Cabbage, sausage, potato, carrot stew; make apple sauce as well

Mon: (ballet) Persian Rice, Spinach

Tue (post-op): Take-out

Wed (singing? Gyoza and dipping sauce; seared green beans

Th (ballet) Squash soup from freezer, grilled cheese. Ceasar Salad

Fr: Pork Loin, Collards, Roast potatoes and other root veggies, green salad

Sat: Pasta with Basil; zucchini and lemon

Sun: Pork again

Mon: Omelets with salsa; broccoli, plantain&hot sauce

Tue: Med. fish stew?


Week of 1/4-1/21


Sat: Squash soup from freezer, grilled cheese. Ceasar Salad

Sun (snow): Pork Loin, Collards, Roast potatoes and other root veggies, green salad

Mon: (snow, ballet) Omelets with salsa; zucchini and lemon,

Tue (puzz pint): Pasta with Basil; broccoli

Wed (warmer): Pork again, some veg, plantain & hot sauce, Ceasar Salad

Th (ballet, warmer): Med. fish stew?, green salad

Fr: Fire Chicken, roasted sweet potato slices, broccoli rabe

Sat: Polenta blue cheese casserole, gravlax, fresh spinach cooked w/ cream & nutmeg
