Bourbon Sweet Potatoes

Preheat oven to 400 convection

Poke with a fork, or cut in half lengthwise

2.5 lbs sweet potatoes

Bake until done and the skins slide off easily. Let cool if you have time. Either way, remove the skins and mash the potatoes. 

Put 

the sweet potatoes

1/3c brown suger

1/2c bourbon whiskey

1/2t vanilla

1/2t cinnamon

1/8t cloves

1 stick butter

into a slow cooker and cook on high for a few hours; then on low for as long as you like, stirring periodically.
