Preheat oven to 400F.
Sautee in butter
about an ounce of fine spaghetti
until it's somewhat browned. Set aside. Also sautee and set aside
some sliced almonds
some dried currants, raisins, apricots, other dried fruit (cranberries?)
Sautee in more butter
1 chopped onion
and then add
1 c rice
and stir around; Add
1.5c chicken stock
the pasta
a little saffron
one teabag (to be removed later)
and cook in oven for 17 minutes.
Add in the reserved fruits/almonds, remove the teabag, and let sit for a while before serving.
