4.41ha: located 300 meters above sea level in the middle of a wind corridor, on very sandy and shallow soils (25-50cm).
The wines are characterised by their charm and audacity.
About the terroirs
Global vision: on the top of one of the granitic mounts in Moulin-à-Vent, 300m in altitude, neighbouring the terroir 'la Rochelle'
Soils: 60cm of granitic porous sands laying over the source rock
Exposition: East exposure, this terroir is in the winds corridor.
Tasting Notes
Croix des Vérillats has a deep red color with an intense nose of black fruit, unusual for the appellation. The mouth is full and supple, with a delicious smoothness balanced by the freshness of the fruit and spices.
