The wines are multidimensional, complete, and can be austere in their youth.

Exclusively coming from the terroir 'la Rochelle': 4,218 ha 

Global vision: below the neighbouring terroir 'les Vérillats', on the top of the appellation at 280m in altitude, 'la Rochelle' is located on the top part of the Vérillats mount south slope 

Soils: granitic sands, deeper than the Vérillats 

Exposition: South exposure, this terroir is in the winds corridor

Tasting Notes

Bright violet. Heady cherry, blue fruit and vanilla aromas show very good energy and a spicy accent that gains strength with air. 

Juicy and concentrated on the palate, offering powerful boysenberry and bitter cherry flavors and a sweetening touch of candied flowers. 

Closes supple, spicy and very long ; youthful tannins frame the energetic dark fruit
