First, as noted in Class News, I need to clarify the email you received from Ms. Hayes regarding picking up work at school this Friday.
Although Ms. Anderson's students have some written work to turn in and some materials to pick up from school this Friday, our class does not.
Our class has everything they currently need as far as books and materials, and I will continue to collect necessary written work for grading via email as we have done in the past weeks. So, there is no need to come to school this Friday to pick up anything if your child is a student in our class.
I'll post which assignments need to be turned in via photo/email on Friday evening. Thanks!
LITERACY WORK:
SPELLING - Practice this week's Spelling list by completing Reading WB p. 490 and do an online activity or two on VocabularySpellingCity.com.
READING - reread Just Like Josh Gibson aloud using your eText on the PearsonRealize site OR your Reader. Practice reading with lots of expression.
ENGLISH - watch the assigned Grammar Jammer Capitalization video on the PearsonRealize site. Practice Antonyms by completing English p. 162.
MATH - watch 2 assigned lesson videos on the PearsonRealize site, then complete pgs. 773-776 in your math book.
SCIENCE - read and complete pgs. 153-155, Chapter 3 Study Guide and Review, using your Science book to help you find the correct answers.
RELIGION - Chapter 18 We Celebrate Peace and Service - Read and complete pg. 269 about how we greet each other. We can't use many of our familiar ways of greeting our friends and classmates during this time, but we can always communicate through technology. Write a message to your school friends and send it to me in an email (with permission and help from parents) and I'll publish your messages on our class blog at the end of the week.
