We are working on adding greater numbers in Math and will likely have a Test on Thursday this week.
Fall weather finally seems to be here. Please remember to send warm outerwear for recess. We go outside daily unless it is too wet.
A few reminders...
Friday, 10/28 is a Ladies Guild Lunch day, if pre-ordered. We will enjoy Great American Bagel this week!
While we are thinking about lunch... I have heard from the kids that they really like the new hot lunch selections, and that they are a huge improvement over what the previous vendor provided. The pizza especially seems to be a big hit.
Friday, 10/28 is also Trunk or Treat! at 5:30 in the church lot.
On Monday, 10/31, 3rd graders are welcome to wear costumes and participate in the annual Halloween parade in the morning. After lunch, we will celebrate with a not-too-spooky movie and a treat or two that I will provide. Thanks, Mrs. Froylan, for offering to send drinks. Please note that we will NOT be exchanging treats in the classroom, so please do not send your child to school with candy to pass out. Thanks for your understanding and support.
Our next All School Mass is on November 1 at 10 a.m. and of course, you are always welcome to join us!
The Scholastic Book Fair begins on Saturday, November 5 in the red tile vestibule between the church and school. Books make great Christmas stocking stuffers!
There is still time to sign up to participate or volunteer for the 5K on November 12!
Have a great week.
