Have a joyous and blessed Easter, and a peaceful Spring Break!

We will study inflected endings in our Spelling and Phonics work this week. Spelling words for Friday's test are:

In Math we will finish our study of Place Value to Thousands and begin comparing and ordering higher numbers in Chapter 22. Soon we will be adding and subtracting 3-digit numbers with regrouping, so continue to review basic addition and subtraction facts at home.

I hope that you received your child's invitation to our Sacramental Buddy Ice Cream Social on Friday, May 3 from 1:30-2:30 p.m. If neither parent is able to attend, your child is welcome to invite a grandparent or favorite aunt or uncle. However, since the focus is on getting to know the 8th grade Buddy who has been mentoring your child this past year, we must ask that you do not bring along younger siblings. Also, although we are grateful for the 8th graders' friendship and support, we cannot allow them to receive gifts from their Buddies. This has been an issue in the past and caused hurt feelings for 8th graders who were not acknowledged the same way. We will be writing letters of gratitude, and that is all the thanks the 8th Graders need or expect. Thanks for your cooperation and we hope to see you on the 3rd at the Cardiff Center. Please enter through the Linus Lane entrance at 1:30.
