Other news...

Ms. Brodsky assigned music homework. It can be found on my homework page. Please encourage your child to memorize the lyrics for the Christmas Pageant.

A number of students are still struggling with regrouping across zeros and did not perform well on their Math test. If your child came home with a note on their test to review their errors, please spend a little time with them to help them understand what they are doing wrong. There seemed to be no problems when we went over the Study Guide on test day. I asked all the students individually when they turned in their tests if they had checked their subtraction by adding up from the bottom of the problem as we had practiced in class. They all insisted that they had. If they truly had, their answers would have been correct. Please reinforce this practice with them at home. I will be retesting those with a score lower than 80 next week, likely on Tuesday, because this is a skill that they need to have to move forward. Thanks for your support!

Math tests should be signed and returned on Monday.

Please take note of the Hearing Screening consent form sent home on Friday. It needs to be signed and returned at your earliest convenience. Thanks!
