Here are a few reminders about upcoming events...

If you ordered cookie dough, please pick up your order on 10/26 from 2-6 in the Cardiff Center.

The Ladies Night Out Vendor Fair is 11/3 from 7-10. Get an early start on some holiday shopping!

The Scholastic Wild West Book Fair runs from 11/4-11/7. We will have some shopping time during school hours, but you can also come as a family and shop together or shop online.

Gobble Gobble 5K is on 11/18 - the class with the most participation wins a pizza and ice cream party!

If you know a Veteran, please encourage them to help us celebrate them and their service to our country. Green registration forms were sent home with students awhile back, and should be returned to school by 11/6.

More info on all of the above can be found on the school webpage.

HALLOWEEN

I've had a few questions about 3rd grade Halloween celebrations, so here goes...

Yes, the 3rd graders may dress in costume. They are not required to. The 3rd graders will participate in the morning Halloween Parade, and all parents are welcome to stay after dropoff to watch and take photos.

Yes, students may bring a treat to share with their classmates. They are not required to. Please be sensitive to the fact that we have two students with health/nutrition issues. Some non-food treats would be awesome and most welcome! If you send candy, please be sure that it is manufactured in a facility that is nut-free. We will do some celebrating in the afternoon with a not-too-scary movie and exchange treats. Please do not send food or drinks for the class, but thank you for your kind offers.
