A few notes...

I strongly encourage students to use their eText to prepare for our weekly tests. Most say they are having no trouble getting access. For the few that haven't been able to, I have again sent home the access information. Parents, please let me know if you are unable to sign in. There is a wealth of interactive content on the website that you and your child have access to that isn't available with the hardcover Reader.

Thinking about Christmas yet? Books make wonderful gifts!

Scholastic Book orders from the two flyers sent home recently are due by tomorrow, 11/4. You can order online using my teacher code H3ZD8 if you'd like to pay with a credit card. If you would like to pay with a check, please send your order to school with your child.

The Scholastic Book Fair begins on Saturday, 11/5 in the red tile vestibule between church and school for those who would like to visit as a family and purchase books. As a class, we will have a mini-preview of the books available for purchase on Monday, 11/7. Students will be allowed to create a wish list that will include prices of the books they would like to buy. There will be a final opportunity to purchase books during school on Tuesday, 11/8. You can send cash or a personal check to school and change will be sent home. Please be sure that you send money in a marked envelope of ziploc bag. Thanks for encouraging a love of reading and supporting our school by participating.
