Post date: Apr 21, 2020 12:54:29 AM
Good Morning! Here's some work for today...
LITERACY WORK:
SPELLING - Practice weekly Spelling words by completing Reading WB p. 485 and do an activity or two on VocabSpellingCity if you didn't get to it on Monday.
VOCABULARY - Do you remember that homophones are words that sound alike but have different spellings and meanings? You can use context clues--the words or sentence around a word--to decide which homophone is being used in a particular sentence. Read pgs. 366-367 in your Reader then complete Reading WB p. 486 to practice.
COMPREHENSION - Login to the PearsonRealize site to read along with this week's main selection Just Like Josh Gibson.
ENGLISH - Knowing when to capitalize a word is important when we write. Complete Reading WB p. 487 to review and practice this, then complete English p. 161 to review and practice antonyms (opposites.)
MATH - Login to the PearsonRealize site and watch the two assigned videos for today's lesson Find Unknown Measurements. Then work on pgs. 768-770 in your book.
SCIENCE - Cut out the Vocabulary Smart Cards for review in your book, pgs. 151-152. Draw a simple picture on the back of each that helps you remember what the word means.
HANDWRITING - Complete p. 124 Uppercase cursive V.
Have a wonderful day!
