We are beginning our Book Report writing project this week. Your child selected a book during library class last week that they would like to write about. It must be fiction, cannot be a graphic novel, and should be text that they are comfortable reading. They were asked to finish reading their book over the weekend because we will begin drafting book reports early this week.

If your child seems to be struggling with the book they chose, it may not be at the appropriate reading level for them. If that is the case, please help them choose another book that they will be able to finish and enjoy. It can even be a novel they have already read - they will need to reread it in order to do their best work on their book report.

The 3rd graders will be performing in the St. Linus Spring Concert on Thursday, May 11th at 1:30 p.m. On this day they need to wear their "Sunday Best." If you would like their St. Linus siblings to attend the performance with you, please send a signed note to those teachers who will need to dismiss them from class.
