Wishing you a blessed and holy Easter

Post date: Mar 28, 2018 5:46:52 PM

Students came home over break with a cabbage plant and some information about a $1,000 scholarship competition. Please read the valuable information in your child's folder in order to participate. Cabbage plants should be cared for indoors until early May, when they can be safely planted outside.

I had to send home the mealworms from class because they won't survive over break. Every other year, they have undergone metamorphoses within a few weeks. This batch is very slow to change. To care for the mealworms, just put a small piece of potato or apple in the container every few days, for moisture. Watch for changes. Please do not bring the mealworms/beetles back after Easter break. They can be released outside when the weather is consistently warmer.
