In English, we will be working on How-To Articles beginning this week. Some of the work may be assigned for completion at home.

In Math we continue to work with 2-digit addition and the kids are getting quite proficient at remembering the important steps of adding the digits in the ones place first in order to decide if they need to regroup, then writing that little "1" above the tens place digits before they add them. Those who have their basic facts memorized are flying through these problems and ready for their next challenge. Please keep them practicing at home.

In Science, we are finishing up our study of Earth's Materials and should be ready for a test by week's end. Study materials will be sent home a couple of days in advance, and we will review in class.

A few reminders...

Penny Wars continues through this week.

If you haven't already, please return the yellow school enrollment form for 2019-2020.

Friday is Ladies Guild lunch for those who preordered.
