Ingredients:
Prick sides of whole squash, place in a shallow dish, and cook in microwave on high for 6 minutes. Remove from the microwave and carefully slice in half lengthwise. With a spoon, remove the seeds and membrane from the squash.
Place the two halves open, face up, in shallow dish and add water for steaming, and cover with the glass lid. Place dish in microwave and heat on high for about 10 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes and then scrape edges with a fork to promote the classic strands of spaghetti squash. Serve hot with parmesan cheese.
