White Sauce

Makes about 1 cup

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons margarine
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 cup whole milk, warmed
  • salt
  • pepper

Melt the butter or margarine in a sauce pan and add flour and mix well, then slowly add the warm milk. Bring to a boil for 1 minute, then reduce heat and allow to simmer until desired thickness. Add salt and pepper to taste.
