Serves 4 to 6
Ingredients:
Remove sausage meat from casing by making a slit down the length of the sausage. In a small skillet with olive oil, add small chunks of sausage meat and cook. Salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat.
Chop red onion into sections and place in a large skillet with olive oil. Simmer and then add chopped garlic. Slice bell peppers length-wise and chip into two to four sections each and add to pan. Sauté until al dente, then add sausage and enough Prego sauce to cover vegetables and meat, or for the number of people being served.
Serve hot over drained pasta.
