Brownies
Makes 16 brownies
Baking Temperature: 300 degrees
Time: 45 minutes
Ingredients: (courtesy Alton Brown, Food Network)
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup sugar, sifted
- 1 cup brown sugar, sifted
- 8 ounces melted butter
- 2 3/4 cups cocoa, sifted
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup flour, sifted
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
Beat eggs at medium speed until fluffy and light yellow. Add both sugars. Add remaining ingredients, and mix to combine.
Place parchment paper in bottom of pan and pour in batter and bake at 300 degrees for 45 minutes. Insert a toothpick into the center of the pan - if done, it should come out clean. Remove from pan and cut while still warm.
