Pink Sauce


Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoon butter
  • 2 tablespoon flour
  • 1/4 cup chopped white onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 cup cream
  • 1/3 cup shredded mozzarella or jack cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Romano cheese
  • 1 cup spaghetti sauce, pureed
  • Dried basil

Melt the butter in a sauce pan and sauté the onion and garlic. Add flour and mix well. Slowly add half of the cream while mixing. Add the remaining cream and continue stirring (add milk to thin sauce if needed).

Stir in the cheeses until melted. Slowly mix in spaghetti sauce, season with dried basil, and blend together. Serve over pasta with freshly grated parmesan cheese.
