Coffee Ice Cream
Coffee Ice Cream - Brewed Coffee
Makes about 2 quarts
This Philadelphia-Style ice cream uses an electric ice cream machine.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup non-fat milk
- 1 cup coffee, cooled
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
Whisk together the white sugar and milk. Add coffee and vanilla and whisk thoroughly. Add heavy whipping cream and mix together. Place in fridge to cool for 10 minutes.
Assemble ice cream machine and pour in chilled mixture. Turn on machine and allow to run for 25 to 35 minutes. Check ice cream consistency using a spoon; if it has reached the desired thickness, spoon into a freezer-proof container and then freeze for later consumption.

- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups heavy whipping cream
Whisk together the white sugar and milk. Add the instant coffee and vanilla extract and whisk thoroughly. Add heavy whipping cream and mix together. Place in fridge to cool for 10 minutes.
