Directions:
- 9 Lasagna noodles
- 2 cups cooked, shredded chicken
- Oregano
- Garlic salt
- 3 cups shredded mozzarella
- Sauce ingredients:
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 ounces cream cheese
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp minced garlic
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- 1/2 tsp oregano
- 2/3 cup Parmesan cheese
Directions:
- Make sauce:
- Melt butter in sauce pan over medium heat
- Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant (about 1 minute)
- Add cream cheese and whisk until melted and smooth
- Whisk in heavy cream
- Add seasonings and bring to a simmer - simmer 15 minutes until sauce thickens, stirring frequently
- Stir in Parmesan cheese and melt
- Preheat oven to 350 F
- Spray 8x8 glass dish. Spread enough sauce on bottom just to cover.
- Boil lasagna noodles al dente
- Drain and rinse noodles - then lay out and blot dry
- Spread sauce over noodles (about 2 Tbsp), then oregano and garlic salt, then chicken, then sprinkle cheese.
- Carefully roll noodles - don't squish and lift as you roll
- Place in 8x8 dish seam-side-down. Top with remaining sauce and sprinkle with remaining cheese.
- Bake at 350 F for about 30 minutes
