Ingredients
1/4 Cup Sugar
1/8 cup (2 Tblsp) Cocoa Powder
Dash of Salt
1/6 cup (8 tsp) HOT water
2 cups Whole Milk
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup Heavy Whipping Cream
Instructions
Whisk Sugar, Cocoa, and Salt in a heavy pan
Add hot water to mixture and mix well
Turn on burner to medium heat and bring mixture to a boil, once the mixture is boiling and frothing, count to 60, stirring continuously. If you don't stir the mixture will burn quickly.
Add milk to mixture and stir regularly until temp hits ~185°.
Turn off heat and add Heavy Cream.
If you have a stick blender, attach the emulsifier (blade) and use to froth mixture for 2 minutes.
Serve with Marshmallows and Whipped Cream.
