Ingredients:
- 2/3 cups cocoa powder
- 1 3/4 cups AP flour
- 1 1/4 light brown sugar
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 tsp apple cider vinegar
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 350 F
- Lightly grease doughnut pans
- Mix dry ingredients together, including chocolate chips
- Whisk wet ingredients together, then incorporate into dry
- Spoon into gallon zip lock bag and spread into doughnut pans, filling about 3/4 way full
- Bake 10-13 minutes until toothpick inserted into doughnut comes out clean
- Remove doughnuts from pan after 30 seconds or so, and place into rack to cool
Peanut Butter Icing (whisk to combine):
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 Tbsp peanut butter
- 2 Tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla
Chocolate Icing (microwave until milk steams, stir together until smooth):
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 4 Tbsp milk or half & half
