Ingredients Bottom
2 cups fresh blueberries
2 cups halved or quartered strawberries
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup AP Flour
1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp salt
Ingredients Topping
3/4 cup AP Flour
3/4 cup Quick Oats
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 tsp ground cinnamon
6 Tbsp butter
1/2 tsp salt
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F
Spray 2-quart (11x8) glass baking dish with cooking spray
In a bowl toss Bottom Ingredients and coat fruits well (may need to mix with spatula)
Spoon/dump into prepped backing dish
In a large bowl, mix Topping Ingredients. Cut in cold butter with a pastry blender (one of these evil utensils). If you don't have one, you can shred the butter and mix in.
Mix until the topping looks like coarse meal/grain
Pour evenly over fruit mixture
Spray topping with a butter spray
Bake for about 40 minutes or until the topping is bubbling and golden (if you don't have a butter spray, you can use the broiler to brown the topping).
