History-
Developed for a sturdier troop and survey profile, the Canada Goose has sometimes been spotted deep in Romulan Space, near Taurhai Space, and in the Triangle, and it was an unexpected success for a Light Cruiser, being unusually durable, although weak-shielded, and some vessels were of a slightly more powerful variant with Forward Plasma Torpedoes, making it somewhat effective and cheaper than larger Heavy Cruisers, Heavy Frigates and Heavy Battlecruisers.
