History-

The USS Uruguay and USS Paraguay were both almost immediately adopted by Andorians in the Blue Fleet, with crews that were 80% Andorian, 10% Human, and 10% Zaranite, and like most Andorian-Style ships, their nacelles were held down close to each other. They were speedy, capable Transwarp Destroyers that easily took out IKS and Romulan ships, but due to the Tomed Incident, the Treaty of Algeron, and successfully forcing the IKS back to their inner systems in 2317, further production of the Class was cancelled, sine there was no need for them. Both DDs continued to serve, sometimes battling encroaching Talarians, and doing better than many other older ships in the Dominion War, before being retired in 2379.
