History-

The Dawn Thief was the first new Class of Orion Blockade Runner, and the first Class of new construction, as opposed

to the refitting of numerous older Orion Merchant Navy and Orion Space Navy Ships, and for a while, due to only

one Orion Shipyard being complete, and four others under construction, there were struggles to get the others

completed, and to get some damaged and underequipped vessels refitted and as many Dawn Thieves completed as possible,

and while the Dawn Thieves were temporarily outstanding at raiding and some scouting missions, they were quickly rendered

weak and pointless by numerous Naval ships, thus requiring more advanced Orion ships, the limits of Shipyards and

available systems, including smaller numbers of warp nacelles, caused the Cartels to only build single-nacelle

designs until the Second Nacelle in 2249.
