History-
Developed as a new 4Xl scout to explore the ENTIRE galaxy, the Leipzig-Class Scout Ships are based on the ovoid primary hull Diogenes-Class, as well as the Nova and Bradbury classes, using the Bajoran Wormhole, temporary wormholes, sometimes using a special generator experimented with, or by using Borg Transwarp Hubs. Ships of this class are named after various locations on Federation Member Worlds, and are produced at Sol VI, Morena, Argelius and Cait shipyards at a rate of 8 per year.
