FASA to SFB Conversion

First, multiply the entire SSD Box Count in the outline by 1550. This becomes the ship's Metric Tonnage (mt).

Then, multiply hull by 1.25 for superstructure.

Then, multiply warp by 1.33

For Impulse, consult the chart below:

Multiply Crew Units by 10, and Boarding Parties by 10-20 for Crew/Troops.

For Passengers, divide Crew by 10, then multiply by 2.

Take Shuttle Count as-is, although multiplying by 2 for some ships would be prudent.

Take Fighter Count as-is.

For Shields, divide #1 shield by 2, SPR being 1/1 (0Xe), 2/3 (some Klingon), 1/2 (0Xs), 1/3 (0Xl, 1X), 1/4 (1X Federation, TNG Races), 1/5 to 1/8 (Orion, TNG Races)

For Weapons...

Ph-1, Ph-2 and Ph-3 are roughly equivalent to FH-3, FH-2, and FH-1.

1 DISR is equal to 1 KD-6/RB-6/OD-4/LD-5, 1.5 DISR is equal to 1 KD-8/RB-10/OD-5/LD-7, 0.5 DISR is equal to 1 weaker Disruptor.

For Gorn, use GBL-7s for Ph-1s, GBL-2s for Ph-2s, GBL-3s for Ph-3s, and GBL-1s or Lasers for Warp-Targetted Laser

Replace 2 Phtn with typical photon of the period, or 1 Phtn with light photon of the period.

Replace Fusion Beams and Hellbores on a 1/1 and 2/1 ratio

Have 1, sometimes 2 Plasma Weapons and 1, sometimes 2 PPDs on ships.

Have 1, sometimes 2 ESGs.

If you have them, put Drones and Opts on a ship at a 1/1 ratio, with KZDS-5, FDN-2, KDN-3, ODN-5, OPT-2 being used for FASA, with FDN-4, KDN-6 being used for 1X, FDN-6, KDN-8 being used for 2X, etc...

Cargo Capacity is 50 SCU per Cargo Box, or 23.75 per Hull Box (Klingons get )10.9 per Hull Box), Orions get 25 SCU per Cargo Box.

Move Cost is x4 for Movement Point Ratio, Ships with especially good Turn Modes get a -1 to their Movement Point Ratio.

Fighter Conversion

4 Hit Points = 1 Superstructure Point

Give the Fighter 1 or 2 A range Warp Engines of that Race

Give the Fighter an A range Impulse Engine

If you allow this, give the Fighter the weakest 2/1, 1/1 or 1/2 Shield Generator

Give the Fighter an HH-G (Gatling), FH-1 (Ph-3), FH-2 (Ph-2), KD-1, KD-2, KD-4, RB-1, RB-2, RB-2a, OD-1, OD-2, GBL-1, LD-1, LD-2, or KZD-1a (Disruptor)

Give the Fighter M1s, M2s, M3s or M4s for every Drone, and Light Torpedo for every Photon
