History-

One of the Novakopovich-Class Freighters, a Class of ship, which, like a Miranda-Class Variant that included the USS Lantree, made use of the Saucer-with-a-boxy-aft-section design scheme for a practical, cubicle freight/transport role. The ships were produced from Merak, Cait, Tellar and Argelius at a combined rate of 12 per year.

Although the Class doesn't normally have any weaponry, there are 10 weapon mounts across the saucer that can fit low-medium powered weapons, and some owners of ships have fitted theirs with often black market Phasers, Disruptors and Photon Torpedoes of various races.
