Converting D20 Star Wars Ships to FASA's STCS

1: Convert 30 HP to 1 Superstructure Point

2: Convert 1 SCU = 50 tons

3: Convert Shields by giving it 2/1 for 10 SP, and 1/* (*=1 per additional 30 SP after that), and Max Shield Power is 1

Charging per 15 SP

4: Moving 1 Square (Ship Scale) = MPR 5/1, 2 = 4/1, 3 = 3/1, 4 = 2/1, 5 = 1/1, 6 = 1/2, 7 = 1/3, 8 = 1/4, 9 = 1/5

5: Hyperdrive is MPR x5 per Engine

6: Impulse Engine is 3 points per visible Thruster

7: Beam and Missile Damage is equal to 1 = 30 Damage (Fractions of this; - a residual 15 Damage, with some flexible interpretation,

become the Beam Weapon's Modifiers)

8: Weapon Range is, for each successive d10, starting from 1: D/E-F/G-H/J/P/S/T/U/X/Y/Z

9: If any Plasma Charts are applicable, use RL-1/RL-2/RL-3 for Smaller Ones, any others get AMPB

10: Power Cost is 1 for Proton Torpedoes and most missiles, 2 for Concussion Missiles

For ICON, Superstructure is x3.6, Resistance is 1 per 15 Threshold, Shield Protection is x2.4 the Max Shield Power,

Spread is 2 for launchers, multiply Total Power x3 for Power, Multiply Beam Damage x2 (x3 if Weapon has 'Heavy' in the title),

and give Missile Weapons 5 Damage per 2d10 in Damage

For both systems, Crew, Passenger and Shuttle Counts remain the same. Give ships Corvette (Size 3, Class IV-V) and up Tractor Beams

in blocks of 2, and give for Computers 20 WDF (STCS) or 1 (ICON), 2 of each make 1 Core, and have 2-6 pairings for larger ships.
