A number of Hassans at the best Design Bureau headed by Miraxis Supainen hurriedly put into service a few gunboat classes to prepare for increased raids, and then an invasion of Gorn Worlds during the General War, and soon, they put in motion a new Destroyer Class making use of higher quality weapons. Around 20 were built from 2281 to 2284, and were highly potent antiship and bombardment craft, sometimes leading squadrons of Gunboats, Escorts and Scouts and making a name in Hassan firepower.
