History-

The Sharktooth-Class, not to be confused with the WYN Destroyer of the same name, became a new long-range scout ship with wide cargo holds carrying supplies and various specimens and artifacts for many years Deep Space Exploration, joining the Constellation and Cetus Sierra Classes at the deepest reaches, although they were only produced in limited numbers, they alone could go exploring, checking up on stations and colonies, and periodically fighting the occasional hostile.

The Sharktooth-Class was based on a Prehistoric Shark from 236 million years ago, and was based on the older Coventry and Cesario Classes of ship, resulting in a durable, truly multi-role ship, unlike the Anton and Cesario, which functioned as barely combat capable survey cruisers. Of the 9 built, 1 was destroyed in battle with Tholians in 2349, and 6 have been made into training vessels, finally retired in 2383, the remaining 2 sold to the AOFW, although some Ferengi and Hassans briefly showed interest in them.
