1992 - 1996 Eugenics Wars: Forerunners to SFMC, the United States Marine Corps 3^rd & 5^th Marine Divisions and the United Kingdom’s 3^rd Royal Marine Commando Brigade storm Sri Lanka and capture the capital city of Colombo in 2 days.

2024 USMC personnel assist in suppressing the Bell Riots rates as one of the darker moments of USMC history.

2053 Colonel Green’s War or World War III: Colonel Green uses renegade elements of the USMC in his bid to cease power, beginning World War III.

2113 New Earth Republic founded: the United States of America’s & the United Kingdom’s Marine Commanders merged their respective Marine units under a joint command structure.

2156 - 2160 Romulan Earth War: United Earth Marine Corps fight several pitched battles against Romulan ground troops. During these engagements no Romulan was ever captured nor were Romulan remains ever recovered to be examined.

2161 Formation of the United Federation of Planets: UEMC renamed Starfleet Marine Corps significantly reduced its size from a peak strength of 12 divisions during the Romulan war to 1 division.

2174 SFMC rescues Vulcan diplomats from Orion terrorists, 200 terrorists killed along with 10 marines. No diplomats are hurt.

2218 First contact with the Klingon Empire:

2223 Conflict breaks out with the Klingon empire: Starfleet Marine Corps strength increases to 8 divisions. Through a series of ground battles with the imperial Klingon army, Starfleet Marines relearn the art of the war.

2253 Starfleet Marines assist in the liberation of several worlds that were conquered by Axanar.

2266 Starfleet Marines put on alert after Romulans violate neutral zone, USS Enterprise successfully repulses the Romulan Bird of Prey.

2280 SFMC involved in anti-piracy operations against the Breen.

2311 Tomed Incident: Romulans surprise and massacre the Marine garrison at Lobechmar Sigma IV killing 3000 Marine personnel.

2330 Starfleet Marine Corps strength cut to 3 divisions after lessening of tensions with the Klingon Empire.

2341 Combined anti-piracy operations with the Klingons result in collision between the USS Bombay (Nebula class cruiser) and the IKS Markerpek (Vor’Cha class cruiser) killing 2000 Marines and 1000 Klingon soldiers. Despite this tragedy, the operation goes ahead and is deemed a success. Not only does the operation eliminate several pirate strongholds but also the forces capture an old D-7 class Battlecruiser and an old Larson class destroyer.

2347 Skirmishes with the Cardassian Union: Marine Corps strength increased to 5 divisions.

2366 USS Enterprise D encounters the Borg: Marine strength increased to 10 divisions.

2374 - 2375 War with the Dominion:

2497 - 2506 The Existance War. Large numbers of Marines engage in Covert Guerilla warfare, and are trained in psychological and 6Xs advanced warfare, battling True Ones, hiding among colonists, absorbed and reworked True Ones Victims, and striking at True Ones Bases.
