The Jasper-Class was another larger warship to give the Tholians a heavier Battlecruiser, as well as to make use of new Photon Torpedo Technology, being a potent surprise for Klingons expecting the Monitors, Patrol Corvettes and Web Tenders of the 2250s. Only 3 were built, the most prominent of which was the TDV Arrket under the command of Masderes, a belligerent hellion who viciously attacked numerous Klingon, Lyran and Andromedan ships until destroyed by a Devastator in 2300.
