The Castinia System contains five planets, a narrow, mineral-rich asteroid belt hovering 0.014 AUs from the Blue Star in the System. The Planet Castinia is a Class N Pelagic world with two 45 km islands and long strings of hundreds of islands each going up to 4 kms in size, with almost completely serene weather, and numerous lifeforms, most prominently ones resembling the Cameroceros, Jellyfish and Clownfish, with around 3.45 times as much plankton as is found in Terran Oceans. It was surveyed by the USS Russell in 2291, surveyed again by the USS Bader in 2300, and colonized by various Federation, Talarian and Orion interests in 2315, and today 12 million people live on the planet in harmony, some regularly making sea excursions for sightseeing, exobiological surveys and fishing.
