History:

This giant jungle world is rich in grass, vines, giant beanstalks and kelp forests, and a wide variety of Healthy Animal Life. Most Fauna on Cyndralax is dangerous, and has been much in demand in various Zoos, such as the Monthrax, and the Magnomagus. The rich mineral/metal content on this world has made it a popular target by Orions and Tellarites, who often send ships loaded with mining equipment and personnel to strip it.

A gorgeous, yet serene place, with no Predators, and almost no mammalian lifeforms at all except for the lone sentient race that evolved on the planet, the Tespha, a race of marmoset-like beings with long, shaggy blond hair, first contact was made directly and peacefully by the USS Triton in 2206, and a few Trading Stations and groups of around 6,000-9,000 vacationing UFP citizens made this planet one of the more modest, yet inviting relaxation spots.

History-

The most remote Federation colony (2269), Mantilles is one of two planets in the Pallas XIV star system. It began as a self supported mining and agricultural colony, and has become a tourist stop for those seeking a quiet out of the way vacation. Mantilles consists of vast stretches of virgin forest and unspoiled wilderness.

In late 2268, the planet was threatened by a semi-sentient nebula (the Alondra Cloud). The USS Enterprise was in the region and offered assistance. The threat was dealt with at the cost of the third planet, Alondra. Governor Robert Wesley has indicated the expansion of mineral and crystal exploration to Bezaride, the inner most planet, a type K world.

Mantilles is becoming a very successful colony, and with further exploration in the sector, may soon loose it distinction of most distant inhabited world.

A peaceful ocean world surveyed by the USS Horatio in 2339, some occasional people arrive, mostly in small transports or personal scout ships and admire the scenic view of the sky and the horizon, and the oceans are home to more diverse wildlife than in Terra's oceans.

One of the other planets in the system, "Aniki", or "Older Brother", is a similar ocean world, but much larger, and some expeditions to admire the view, collect data, and some of the planet's water for mineralogical studies are occured, and at night in the Northern regions, the Calvaris Lights make for another beautiful view.

There are around 4 hundred prospecters and criminals who occupy the planet for years on end, looking for minerals or hiding from various Patrols, and some minor supply and scenic points, but the planet is a dull wasteland.

Algiers System

History-

The Algiers System was a promising, mineral-rich system in the densely packed core of the Galaxy. the fourth "Planet" of the system was actually one of the smallest charted stars, making up 'B' in the Binary system, when it collapsed into a Class S Brown Dwarf, it's immense gravity pulled the fifth and sixth planets, in wide and spindly orbits, together, causing both planets to collide and be destroyed. Few starships have seen the need to visit the system since the USS Wally Funk surveyed it and witnessed the collision in 2241, especially when the many shattered fragments and somewhat larger amounts of comets and meteors passing through the system make for more sensor and navigational hazards than usual.

Greshire Arbora, the third planet in this system is densely populated by over 800 million people, who love exercising and thriving in the warm, almost always springtime climate, and the planet has almost no radioactive minerals. In a symbol of reconciliation, the planet was given by the Coalition to the Allied Worlds in 2512, who eagerly changed the colony to a trading and camping world.

It's Worlds are named in the order of the ancient Tellarite Letters, Axedis, Dnarr, Cgabaxis, Exudis, Aleksis, Sudris, Terrace, Tunis, Janus, Aligary, and Sumach. Exudis is a Class S Brown Dwarf, that spins faster than Earth, and has two moons, which are mined, and each carry Exobiological and geological stations, with a beautiful scenic view of the Failed Star to rival Jupiter, Saturn and Galileo.

History-

Inveilus System was a system 200 ly away from the Federation Core Worlds, and while the Romulans had their eye on it for 40 years, when the Treaty of Algeron was signed in 2312, the Romulans reluctantly gave up any effort to colonise that system, and the Federation began to seriously survey and study the system in 2317.

The Inveilus System was the largest planetary system discovered by the Federation until the 31st century, and has many mineral-rich worlds that are harvested, colonized, and used for isolated experiments done by Starfleet and civilian researchers alike. The first Planet in the system is a Class D lava world that is dangerously erratic in it's orbit, and is doomed to plunge into it's star in the next 11,000 years, while the nearby Inveilus II is a Hot Jupiter that has three giant spots and interesting xenon-einsteinium composition. Inveilus III is a world with a Greenhouse Effect, that surprisingly, is quite resistant to radiation and traps in so much heat that terrestrial life can comfortably exist on it. A small Federation colony exists on it. Inveilus IV and V are Marslike worlds which have traces of former bodies of water and arthropodic life, sometimes surveyed and used for experiments by Starfleet and Civilian Science Teams. Inveilus VI is an intensely gaseus world orbiting dangerously near Inveilus VII, a Gas Giant 3.5 times the size of Jupiter, Inveilus VIII is an ocean world that has an unforgiving winter, but a comfortable, 231-day long summer, rich in aquatic life similar to to cenozoic lifeforms, such as the Camaroceras and Megalodon, Inveilus IX-XIII being Gas Giants that are among the rare number that have few to no moons, and only Inveilus X has a ring system, Inveilus XIV, a Brown Dwarf, radiates some heat and light, and helps insulate a few of the nearby planets, and Inveilus XV is an extremely poisonous sodium/sulphur/cadmium atmosphere world with a greenhosue effect and sulfuric acid storms, and has not been colonised or studied. Inveilus XVI is a small, 2,000 km rock and ice world that contains an automated cloak-detection and warp signature station, Inveilus XVII-XX are mineral-rich worlds with large numbers of moons near a thin asteroid belt mined by Deltans, Tellarites, and Benzites for vast amounts of minerals, including some believed to be theoretical, and not found on Earth, and Inveilus XXI is a Water Giant 700,000 km in diameter, with moons that are being mined, and a beautiful blue/cream view, Inveilus XXII is a Desert world 6,500 km in diameter that has an almost non-existant Sulphur/Argon atmosphere, and that is used as a storage area, being far to inhospitable for human life, and Inveilus XXIII and XXIV are additional Gas and Ice Giants, painfully vibrant blue, red, and pale yellow in color, leading to their being nicknamed the "Primary Color Worlds", Inveilus XXV and XXVI are pleasently warm worlds orbiting close to the secondary star in the Inveilus Binary, with thick atmospheres and Class L moons with oxygen-argon atmospheres, although with almost no native life, colonized by various Tellarite and Vulcan groups.

History-

Melania II is a deserted world in a small system with almost no other planets, a Brown Dwarf that itself has two mineral-rich moons, and it is one of the few truly peaceful Alpha Quadrant worlds around 425 ly from the Core Worlds. Due to it and the Brown Dwarf's moons being very mineral-rich, the Ferengi have greedily hoarded this planet, although some Federation, Trill, Benzite and Jarada have been allowed to make scientific surveys on the planet.

Over time, the Allied Worlds buy this planet, in around the 2460s-2470s, and make it somewhat more than somewhat more accessible to the public.
