INGREDIENTS:
1 Medium Onion
4 Cloves Garlic
4 Pound Pork Shoulder Butt
1 Tablespoon Smoked Paprika
2 Tablespoons Paprika
1/4 Cup Brown Sugar
1 Teaspoon Garlic Powder
1 Teaspoon Onion Powder
1Teaspoon Salt
1/2 Teaspoon Fresh Ground Pepper
1/4 Cup Apple Cider (may substitute Apple Wine)
3/4 Cup Water
DIRECTIONS:
Dice Garlic and place at bottom of Slow Cooker
Dice Onion and place at bottom of Slow Cooker
In a small bowl, mix together Brown Sugar, Garlic Powder, Onion Powder, Salt, and Pepper.
Run the dry spice mixture onto all sides of the pork and set aside for 5 minutes
Add vinegar (wine) and water to the Slow Cooker.
Slowly lower the seasoned pork into the water/vinegar(wine) mixture
Cover and cook on high for 4 to 5 hours or on low for 8 hours
Remove the pork from the liquid and shred with two forks
NOTES:
Can make sandwiches, tacos, nachos, pizza, quesadillas, pulled pork baked potatoes
