INGREDIENTS:
1 Cup Pasta (Shells or Macaroni)
1 Pound Imitation Crab Meat, flaked
½ Cup Yellow Pepper (Green or Red may also be used)
3 Whole Celery Stalks, chopped
½ Cup Green Onion, finely chopped
¼ Cup Black Olives, sliced
½ Cup Mayonnaise
2 Tablespoons Sour Cream
½ Teaspoon Dill Weed
Dash Poppy Seed
DIRECTIONS:
Boil the pasta in a medium size pan until done (firm but not overcooked).
Drain the water from the past over the sin.
Run cold water over the pasta and set aside.
Mix remaining ingredients in a medium size bowl.
Add pasta to mixture and mix well.
Chill overnight or for at least six (6) hours before serving.
YIELD:
Approximately six (6) servings
NOTES:
This recipe can be used to make crab salad sandwiches. Simply eliminate the pasta.
Serve the sandwiches on sour dough bread or on dark rye.
