INGREDIENTS:
4 Boneless Skinless Chicken Breast Halves (About 1 Pound)
4 Mozzarella Cheese Slices
½ Cup Mayonnaise
4 Whole Kaiser Rolls, split
Lettuce
Garlic Salt
DIRECTIONS:
Heat grill to medium-high heat.
Prepare chicken by lightly sprinkling garlic salt on both sides and bringing to room temperature.
Grill chicken 8 approximately minutes.
Turn chicken. Grill 7 to 9 min. or until chicken is done (165°F), turning occasionally.
Add rolls to grill the last few minutes to toast lightly.
Fill rolls with chicken, cheese, mayonnaise and lettuce.
YIELD:
4 Sandwiches
NOTES:
This recipe works well with smoked chicken breasts as well.
A variation on this recipe calls for pan fried onions and green peppers and topped with barbecue sauce.
