INGREDIENTS:
1 ¼ cups flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 6 ounce package chocolate chips
½ cup Crisco
½ cup brown sugar, packed
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup rolled oats
DIRECTIONS:
Preheat 375°
Sift together flour, baking soda and salt
In double boiler, melt chocolate chips and Crisco
Beat in brown sugar
Beat in egg and vanilla
Stir in flour mixture
Add oats
Shape into balls approximately 1 teaspoon each
Place on greased cookie sheets
Bake 6 to 8 minutes
