INGREDIENTS:
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
½ cup butter or margarine (1 stick), softened
⅓ cup REESE'S Creamy Peanut Butter
1 cup REESE'S Peanut Butter Chips
¾ cup sugar
1 egg
1¼ cups all-purpose flour
½ teaspoon baking soda
¼ teaspoon salt
DIRECTIONS:
Heat oven to 350°F.
In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking soda, and salt.
In a separate bowl, beat butter, peanut butter, sugar and egg at medium speed with a mixer until well blended.
Add the vanilla to the batter.
Gradually add flour mixture, beating well.
Stir in peanut butter chips.
Use a cookie scoop to shape dough into 1 inch balls.
Place two inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet.
Bake 8 to 10 minutes or until set.
Cool slightly: remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
Cool completely.
YIELD:
About two (2) dozen cookies
NOTES:
I always double this recipe to yield forty-eight (48) cookies
