1 bunch chard (red or bright lights)
Remove the ribs, chop the ribs into 1/2" sliced.
Cook in a microwave for 2 min.
Slice leaves into 3/4 x 2" pieces and add them to the chard ribs
Set aside.
1-2 onions
1-2 T olive oil
1/2 t brown sugar
Chop or slice onions. Saute in until they start to brown. Add sugar and saute some more over low heat. When sufficiently caramelized, stir in chard. Cook until chard wilts.
Add
1 T capers
fresh black pepper
1/2 t coarse salt
juice of 1/2 lemon
and cook until done.
