Avery Dinh

Avery Dinh was born on October 23, 2011, exactly at midnight. He was conceived in Fountain Valley, California, raised by his two parents, working to pay off their bills every day. During kindergarten, he was struggling very much, especially with English, since he was born into a Vietnamese household; even teachers reached out to his parents about him falling behind compared to the rest of the students. After kindergarten, Avery’s luck began to change, and since then, he has won every single award for each grade, such as the math and even English awards, which he used to struggle deeply with. Now, he excels in every subject, earning praise from his teachers. He continues working hard, maybe even harder than before, as he earns As. Even last year, he crushed the state tests, scoring a perfect score for the math and English assessments. Aside from academics, Avery enjoys drawing, swimming, and going out. He texts or calls his friends almost every day. Some of his favorite artists include SZA, Ariana Grande, Pink Panthress, and FLO. Avery thinks Fitz Intermediate is a safe and welcoming place for old or new students alike to learn, grow, and better themselves each and every day.
